Default Bogging Throttle

G'day all. I just took out my Traxter Max on a bear hunt, was running great for a few hours but on the way home if I cracked the throttle the thing would almost die on me. Idles fine and runs at slow speed but when I go to shift from 2-3 its a no go. I drained all the fuel , filled it with some premium , that did not solve anything. No water anywhere near the air intake choke cable seems to be working fine. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like a partial clog of the main jet. I've never worked on the traxter so I can't elaborate with details but it sounds like you need to clean the carb.

Thanks I'll try soaking the carb overnight in some gunk carb cleaner.

If there's gunk in it, you need to take it apart. Soaking it will basically just clean the outside of it.
