I have an 05 Vinson and it goes great in water and mud. Last year I had a mishap and tipped it up side down in a 6 foot deep water hole. The whole bike was water logged. Tipped it up on its rear bumper emptied the exhaust and air box. Took the plug out from the belt cover, let it drain and it started right up. All the polaris guys couldn't believe it. You'll like the bike, its well built.

I have an 05' Vinny auto and am Very satisfied. It's been THROUGH not just "in" mud/water clean up to the fender tops==no slippage what so ever! Great bike! I have added a Dyno-Jet jet kit, HMF utlilty series pipe (slip-on), and Moose air filter. It has made a GOOD difference in the bottom end up to the upper. It added a solid 9 mph increase in about 100yd sprint over stock. And about 4mph top-end. Very simple bolt ons! VERY few if any, neg's on this bike. Good choice!
