Default Continuing King Quad problems...why?

I have had 3 battery or recharging problems this winter. Now, it's April...and it won't start. Apparently there is plenty of juice to turn over it just won't fire. I have less than 1,000 miles on this thing. In the beginning I was totally sold on this machine and championed it's praises after recieving ATV of the year. I am not so sure anymore...
I am left wondering if there isn't something more reliable out there. Sure, it rides nice, handling, etc. What good is all that if it is unreliable?

What is plenty of juice to start it is the issue. I was told it takes a required amount of voltage for the FI to operate. Can't remember the number, 9.6?, it's in another post, but while the engine will spin with way less than that it won't start without that that number. I keep mine on a trickle charger, just like other batteries that are used infrequently, and haven't had a problem since that discovery.

..Pray that it isn't the ECM module..and out of warranty..$200 to $300.00 for the part...I've read that several people have had that problem..some just after the 6 mo warranty expired..

I just traded in my 03 prairie 650 for a new otty 800. it has a 42 month warranty. this dealer I found, has been selling them for $7799.00 NO set up or freight ..320 351-7669. for the standard one...

The mfg's with the 6 mo warranty is just plain stupid...for the amount of money one pays for these atv's.. (remember BRR makes the engine parts for the BMW engine on motorcycles..you know they are good !! ..and the sleds "SKi doo" has been the #1 selling sled in the market for a couple of years now...Good Luck pastor.

You make it sound like the Bombardiers are much more reliable than the King. Aren't they having frame-breakage issues

..the one I saw and probably the one you may be refering to was...a guy coming across a grass field and hit a hidden rock at 50 mph...weather true or not..anything hitting a rock at 50 mph, will suffer some type of dmg...
