Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the 2007 Yamaha Kodiak 5. I heard it has autopilot and a traction control system that automatically detects when 4WD is needed. I was also told that it uses an 800CC engine that detects when you want to use the ATV, so it turns itself on and warms up for you automatically. Any information would be appreciated.

I think I'll wait till the 2008 models come out. I have to wait until they get those auto pilot bugs worked out.

What fun would an auto pilot be on a quad?

 

The autopilot still does have some bugs in it. The autopilot is automatically engaged whenever you feel like taking a nap. You just push a little red button on the left handle and a bed folds out from underneath, and you can sleep while your ATV drives you home from the wood where you have been hunting all day long.
