My three buddies can not pull start their Grizzlies because of the compression and you nearly rip your arm off trying.
What are other Grizzly owners experience?

Yes, I am able to pull start my grizzly. I usually pull the ripcord out a bit, stop and then pull the rest of the way to relieve some of the compression...
If your grizzly has a hard time turning over with the electric start, then it obviously makes it much more difficult to pull start it...
If it has a hard time turning over... check all of the basics... and then check the valves... they were a lil tight on my `02 griz... and it was making it hard to start in the cold...

yeah there is a method of pulling it. Like Hebs said pull it out once a little bit. It will stop about 6 inches out. The let it back in then pull it hard. It always works. Its still not easy thought. If you think a grizzlys hard to pull start try to pull start a honda rincon.
