I have an eton yukon and just can't find the problem. It was running my daughter rode it and then it just wouldn't start. I checked the spark plug to see if there was a spark and there was not, so I tested to see the resistance across the coil and it was normal. I then tested power coming into the coil and I have 7 volts on the hot terminal I then traced it back to the CDI the hot wire coming in has 12 volts and the the blue and white wire going to the coil has 7 volts. The starter turn without any problems and the battery has an excellant charge. Also when the kill switch is off on the handlebar it is quiet but when I switch the kill switch into the on position I hear this clicking noise that I can't identify. Any ideas? thanks so much in advance

 

Might want to try a ign. switch i've replaced a few in the 50 thru 90cc quads

 

I dont want to post the obvious things, but most E-tons that wont start are brought into the shop, with a REALLY simple fix. Put it in Nuetral, and set the parking brake, and try again.

 

Dont know name but there is a main group of wires that run under the air filter box to the rear of unit. This has come loose on ours several times before we smarted up and put a lock washer on it.
