Default Brute force temps, IF anyones interested

I beleive i read somewhere someone said the radiator fan does not come on until 240 degrees, This did not sound right to me. I spent about 4 hours rinding my quad in 50 degree weather today, I thought i would check a few places to see what temps were. I used Snap On infared hand held thermometer.
I let bike idle, the fan was kicking off and on while i was doing this
These number are the highest i seen in each particualr spot
Oil filter 155
front cylinder left side 140
rear cylinder left side 122
radiator from front all over 133

All temp Farenheit and i kept thermometer about 6 inches away

for what its worth
