Default Woods Tach (Broken Needle)

Has anyone had the needle pop off their ron woods tach?

Can this be fixed by taking the tach apart and poping the needle back on? Has anyone done this?

I'm in a hurry getting ready for a trip and don't want to spend time on the tach if it cannot be easily fixed.

Thanks,

Scooby

My light quit working years ago.

I was told there was no way to take the tach apart.

Autometer will not repair the tach and yes you can take it apart. It takes some time. I dissasembled mine and took the needle off. Chances are that the pin that the neddle goes on mught be shot.

autometer repaired the tach for free. the bezel cannot be easily removed without destroying it.
