I have an ATV, KVF-400 / Yr: 2000 / 2X4

The oil I use is Kawasaki M4 10W40

I want to know if I can use another kind of oil ?

If yes, which oil can do the same job as the Kawa oil ?

Any automotive 10W-40 with API raing or SF, SG, SH or SJ rating would do the same job since there is no wet clutch on your bike. I've been using Mobil 1 Synthetic on my ATVs for about 3 years and they all still run like when new.
