Default new 06 rubicon keeps stalling out why??

a friend of mine just got a new rubi and it stalls, it quits when you let up on the throtle. it is hard to restart afterwards even if you hold the throttle open a little. ya gotta crank it for like 10 to 15 seconds before it refires. doesnt do it all the time. it has even done it going up a hill when shifting too. any ideas???

Check IC screw for proper rpm when off the throttle i would back it out and go back in. count number of turns out so youll do the same back in.. also check vent tube on gas cap. has this "friend" done any air box mods or pipe mods without rejetting? Does gas run out of the overflow when parked? If so that is a sure sign of stuck float. Also as a float out of adjustment will cause problems while climbing hills.

And exactly how new is the unit. new enough that he should just take it back to the dealer?

I have a 06 rincon fuel injected ,I know they are 2different machines ,but when mine was new it did the same thing ,I now have 19 hours onit and it is much better ,still does it once in awhile but very little ,just think that when new the engine is super tight ,I would give it a little time to loosen up and seeif it gets better.,I know myself I hate taking anything back to the dealer unless I absolutely have to because it usually runs worse when I get it back .just my experience with dealers,I am sure there are plenty of knowledgeable ones out there I just haven't had enough luck to find one yet.
