I went to my local dealer to get oil and filter, Swampfox Motorsports 276-322-4386, they told me they are hearing of a bigger ds to compete with the 700s, and bigger outlander, and a 450 ds. Also not to be surprised to see can-am back on the motocross circut. THey are to find out on the 7th what is coming out. Also these guys give great deals on parts, and have some stuff in stock. I told him about the forum and he said they would do the best they could on shipping charges. I have gave you all the phine number and ask for Darren. Hope this helps someone.
Later,
Chiknhawk

what would really be sweet is to see the new rotax 800 side by side twin cylinder fitted into the ds chassis. it is lighter than the 650 I'm told by ten pounds, has the sprocket on the same side as the ds, and the bmw f800 info on several websites says she has 85hp and 63lbs torque. the bottom pan comes off for tranny service rather than a case split. and the oil is water cooled to boot. and its a 6 speed manual.

speaking of rumors

i was "told" that no body would ever make a model bigger than an 800 cause of some laws about bigger than 800cc in a trail system or for sale use has to be sold as something other than an atv...i kinda zoned out while he was speaking so i missed it..anybody know anything about this? something like it is no longer a recreational vehicle and become an auto or something.
