2005 AC 650-V2 hidden snorkels solution

So I finished installing the snorkels to replace that foolish intake system on the 05/06 AC 650's. The goal was to to give the machine the ability to wade up to the racks at a maximum and provide a 2" cool air intake to enhance performance so I could get away from those anemic 122 jets. As well as be reversable to maintain warranty.
I ended up removing the two hoses that connect the airbox to the donut under the front plastic. I then used a 2" ID radiator hose I had laying around from my old Prairie 650 snorkel project and attached that to the plastic intake pipe coming from the tansmission. Those hose was originally the NAPA 79?? hose the Kawi guys reccomend for the prairies and it slipped perfectly over the plastic intake pipe and was about six inches long with a slight bend at the top facing towards the back of the machine under the gas tank/airbox plastics next to the steering yoke on the right.
The next part was to find and install a hose from the airbox up to the same spot next to the steering yoke on the left side. I puchased a couple of hoses at my local Pep Boys and Auto Zone to which non were going to fit without bending and hurting airflow. I then went to a large hardware store and purchased a 2" ID 90 deg elbow and a 45 deg extension that goes on top of that (much longer than the VDI combo). Those two pices together with a little cutting brought the intake up exactly where I wanted it where it could get some air from the openeing for the steering yoke in front of the glove compartment.
My only worry at this point was all that hot air coming from a radiator and exhaust going up through that area I was taking my air from. So I cut a 2"x4" hole in the black plastic piece in front of the steering yoke above the donut and epoxyed in a Black metal diamond grate into that area so that cold air would come in from the front of the machine and exit infront of my snorkels by the steering yoke.
My current jetting is 138/142.5 with stock exhaust and the plugs look OK so far , they are a little light maybe 142/146 jets are in order. Performance is unbievable, even with my Dyna CDI installed I was having a hard time with wheelies and kicking the back end out on corners, now its like a new machine. I cannot keep the front end down in low even a partial punch of the throttle, and high it lifts up but I can now here the belt slipping a little so I will have to reduce the shims in the secondary. I am going to try and find some deep water this weekend to test it.
Some of you may say why didn't you just snorkel out the front hood plastic like everyone else, well I live in NH and Ride in Maine sometimes, Maine does not allow snorkels (fine). and I did not want to cut the expensive plastic hood on my machine. The small black plastic piece I cut costs ~$17 so I can replace that and the factory intake tubes if I need major warranty service that may be compromised with the snorkels in place.

I posted in my profile all the pictures I have. Unfortunatly I did not take pics of the pipes before I installed them. I will try to get some more from iside the fender wells.
I forgot to mention, you need some double sided insulated tape as the 2" ID PVC is a little larger than the air intake on the airbox
