Do dyna tech cdi's make a difference?
Does anyone have an aftermarket CDI in their 2005 650 V2? My dealer in Canada told me the only one out is Dyna Tech. Are they worth it? Is there a big difference? I have installed the Dyna Jet kit this winter, but haven't rode yet. (dont think leaning out a four stroke will make a huge difference) Have to ride with two new Polaris 800's in two weeks, need some help to beat these guys.

I have a Dyna CDI in my 05 AC 650 V2. It did not make as big of a difference as it did with my 03 Prairie. After I rejetted and tried swapping back to to stock and back to the Dyna, WOW what a difference. So the horrible 122 jets in the stock AC650's will not allow the Dyna to live up to its potential. The Kawi 650's had 138/142 jets, so that is what I used with my 2" hidden snorkel.
The other features of the Dyna are, no reverse limiter, and no limp mode belt sensor.
Although the old modules were known for a high failure rate back in 2004 and early 2005, it appears that they have worked out all there problems, mine seems rock solid.
VDI make a pretty good intake for the 04 650-V2 but it will work with 05 and 06
