stock for stock would a 05 blaster beat a 00 400ex in a race?

 

all depends, the blaster has the torque to get to top speed way ahead of the 400, BUT once the 400 gets to 5th the blaster stands no chance, if were talkign drag race. depends on drivers / track lenth, a dirt track with lots of strait lenths gives the 400 exs the advantege, one with more turns then starait lenths gives the blaster a slight advantege.
IMO the only thing keeping the 400 ahead is the top speed, the blaster wins in torque.

The Blaster is bored 40 over, piped and has a 30mm flat slide carb and it won't keep up with the piped 400EX
