How do these quads compare in overall horsepower (throughout entire powerband) and top-end speed?

 

06 450r all the way on top speed....

the only time you will have a problem with the ltr is bottom end and even then it wont be that big of a problem...

the ltr will take you on a mx track though.....

 

are you kidin? the ltr will smoke the honda!!Dirt wheels did a comparison betwwen the 2 and the ltr blew past a moddified 450r every time!!

 

The LTR is lighter and puts out more HP. what would be faster? not the TRX.....


I Love the honda, but right now Zukis got it beat! but atleast the honda can take the YFZ!!

i think you need to read it again.....

if you read it correctly. it says that since the ltr has 18 in wheels in the back it tops out faster than the yfz and the trx. and it also says that in a mx race the ltr was the clear winner but in a drag race the yfz and the trx is faster. i like the ltr I think they are a nice looking quad and everything so i am not bashing them. but i have even proven it with my own quad. i beat a stock one when my bike was stock and i have beaten a slightly modded one also. and i even made some extra money on it. so like i said before the trx would take it in a drag race but the ltr would win in a mx race....

 

whoops my bad.i forgot to metion that my freinds 250r has a zuki haybasa engine in it.and its onluy toped out at 120,my bad

 

I thought about buying one, but after doing a lot of reading and looking it was the 06 450ER all the way. The 06 is one bad quad. Once you uncork it on both ends and add bigger jets ani't no candy a$$ yellow quad going to catch this Black Beast!!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

But if you also uncork the LT-R, well then, that's a different story.

 

A brute force 750 could smoke the ltr450
