Hello, Looking for some help. I just rebuilt the carb., replaced the intake gasket by the mouth of the carb. I can get the atc to run on choke but as soon as I take it off it will stall. It will start on the first pull on choke. I have the carb. set at 1 1/8 for the air mix screw. I have checked for other air leaks by spraying carb. cleaner around the carb but no signs of any other leaks. It will idol fine with the choke on but not with it off. At this point where can I buy a carb. for it if I need one. Where do I go from here?

 

Did you have it running properly before, and something happened? Check your jetting, is it smoking at all? Clean your filter, too.

could the float level be set to low ?

 

I just pick this machine up. All I could get it to do when I first started it was idol. I broke down the carb and the jets were clogged so I cleaned it out and put the carb. back together and it ran better but would not idol. I order a rebuilt kit thinking that the gaskets and o-rings where bad. I change everything that came with the kit. Put it back together. It starts better now that I did that but will only run on choke. I didn't change the spacer between the intake and the carb, didn't come with kit. Should I try to find one?
