my son has the 04 recon es and starting having problems with shifting. The 1st gear light in the dash is blinking 3 consecutive times. We checked a plug by the pull cord with a 6mm allen, what is this for? The oil in the motor should be with the tranny right? Any way where are the sensors for the shift that might be causing this problem?

any suggestions would help
