Im thinking either Rupp, or DuneCycle. Possibly Speedway, but I doubt it.

Rupp made a 4 wheel dune buggy and DuneCycle made a bunch of 3 wheelers in the early 70's.

pretty sure the Honda US90 was the first of the 'modern' atvs. However, I remember reading a Popular Mechanics or other mag that had a story about a guy in the US that really was way ahead of the times. Not sure if he was responsible for the Coot (amphibious articulating ATV), but he built a few different models and used his daughter as a model, can't remember his name.

I know the M274 Mule (in my pictures) has been around since the 50s. It was a blast as there was really nothing else that I had been able to ride like that at the time. They were built by ****** and a few other mfgs.

I just looked around and '70 was the first year of the ATC 90. Im not sure if Dunecycle made a 3 wheeler that year or not. Ill look thru my old MiniBike Guide mags when I get home.
