First, its all your fault. I coulda just got the kawi 750 bf... but no you talked me into this one.

So.. what shoud I do to it to make it even faster? As on a previous post I HATE the battery placement so I will get a fix and share it with everyone. But what is the top few things that extracate more power from this beast? I know the Kawai's fairly well but not this one. No I'm not doing NOS or anything on it just looking for a working mans tweak.

What worked for you and what did not work for you? I would appreciate any input.

Thank you.

Rob

Hey AL1,
Thanks for that. I was thinking a new CDI, Clutch kit, Port and Polish on the exhaust side. What do you think of those mods?

I don't have anything on mine yet, but this is the results I have read from adding the dobeck and pipe, another thing I have read is is Chapman performance is developing cams combined with porting which develops around 58 horses to the ground check it out http://atv.dnsalias.com/forum.cgi?vi...r&viewtopic=88

You can take all the "shootouts" and put them in one bucket and you won't have beans.

A dobeck tfi lets you adjust the fuel when you add a pipe, like jetting with a carb but all you have to do is turn some screws.

dobeck is a fuel managemant programmable box for efi. i put it on my o6 outty 800 with better exhaust. i can feel the diff. its only good if you mod your ride. does nothing for stock because it only allows you to add fuel at diff points.
