Hey a bunch of freinds and i are going to be drag racing.who would win out of all these quads? I have mudlites on the back if that matters?

 

300ex will win off the line, and accelerate faster. The only way the 300ex would lose a race (assuming the rider knows how to ride good) is if it was a long race where it hits top speed, because the trail boss will probably be a few mph faster on top end. Sorry to tell you this, but the recon doesn't really have a chance against either of them in a drag, unless the other riders are very very terrible riders and you can get the jump on them. It would be hard for the guy on the polaris to screw up though, with an automatic there's not much skill involved in drag racing.

 

Not sure what the top speed of a Recon is, but the Boss is only about 43-47, stock. And it takes a little stretch to get there.

300ex for sure would win. Assuming your racing on flat dry ground.

 

the top speed of a trail boss 325 is only around 45? I assumed it was considerably more than that, since my neighbor had a 87 tb 250 in terrible condition and in need of a rebuild that could still outrun my recon at top end.

So if the trail boss's top speed is only around 45, then it may be a close race with the recon, and the 300ex will be ahead of them the whole time.

 

It is on dry flat ground.and all riders are very good

 

that's what I was figuring on. The recon is a better trail machine than the trail boss, but it's pretty slow in drag races compared to most quads.
