Default Back to my ATV after like 3 years! Lift question.

Hey guys. I have a 1998 Polaris Xplorer400 4x4. Since getting into motocross and motocross business my quad has been in shambles. I am in the process of rebuilding it. Bearings are all seized up and major overhaul is in order.

I have 26 inch Mudrunners that I want to pop back on but want to lift it first. These things were rubbing like crazy back when.

What is available as far as lifts for these machines? Back when I was building it up, not too much was available.... how about now? Couple/few inches, cheap, easy!?!?!?!?!

Thanks again!

Brian

I have a 01 explorer 400 I got the heavier duty springs from my local dealer and installed them. It lifted it 2-3 inches but it did lose that cushy ride it had. I did it because my snow plow lift arm was hitting the tie rod. Next year I'm putting on a winch to lift the plow and I should have tons of clearance with the plow on or off. I think the springs were around 200 bucks for all 3 and the part# is in the service manual. It took maybe 3 hours to do all 3. I heard you could just add spacers but I wanted to stiffen up the ride for 2 up riding.
