YFZ450 issues...
#1
Alright, hopefully this all makes some sort of sense....
Borrowed a friend of mine's YFZ450 for the weekend....picked it up today. He had it on the battery charger when i got there cauze the battery was dead, worked ok after he took it off the charger. He rode it around the yard a few times makin sure everything was good...said it was fine. Put it in the back of my truck, and off to home I go. Get home, unload it, go to ride it around the yard. I stalled it 3 times (havent ridden in a while). For the 3rd attempted restart, got nothing out of the machine...im assuming the battery went dead again. However, I cant get the unit to go into neutral. Now call me stupid, are the 2 problems related?? or did i manage to break the thing already?? lol

you can get it into neutral cause you are most likely in 3rd... rock the quad forward and back and go down on the shifter ( downshifting) try to get it to first then try to get it to neutral... and it won't start if the cltuch isn't pulled

If this turns out to be the problem, you better take care to be super careful. This machine is not just a toy. You could really get hurt or worse, hurt someone else.
If the battery is too weak, even after charging, to put out enough AMPS the machine will not run. If this is the case, a new battery is in order.
