I have rode motorcycles all my life and I have a family now and we want to get into atvs. A person I know at work has a 2002 cannondale for sale for $1000 and it is in prestine shape as far as the body but it won't run. I have researched the reliability kit and to be honest I am a little scared of the cannondale. This person said he was riding down the rode and he felt something like the crank had spun a bearing so he pulled in the clutch and killed the motor immediatily. He said it would be fixed through the purchase of a reliability kit, is this true? Does it have worse problems than he is telling me? He said it still turns over but it will not fire. Is it a good deal or should I stay away. Thanks for all your help.
