The local powersports shop rebuilt mine about 6 months ago. He charged $20 for a brush set, and $10 for the installation. So you can get new brushes if yours wore out, but where at i'm not so sure.

I'm hooked up with an outfit called N2 performance ATV parts. They have brushes, brushplate assemblies, or complete starter rebuild kits that include brushes, seals, and bearings. Do a search and find a dealer near you. They have complete starters for about half of what the OEM's want. If you can't find any dealer let me know and I will find closest one to you. TORK

Normaly brushes are all you need. Clean up good and lube bushings. Should be fine, brushes get short or wear funny and stick.
