Default 450R OTD price

I have a friend who is looking to buy a 450R and the quoted price from a local dealer was $6299 but with taxes and dealer fees it is going to be mroe like $6900. I was wondering if this is reasonable or not, it seems a bit high to me.

Troy City garage has them for $5899 but I know they charge a $250 fee and also he has a trade in that the local dealer said they will take.

We are in Western NY if that matters.

Ok sounds like the local dealer is a bit high just like I had susspected. There are two more Honda dealers locally so hopefully one of them is a little better.

I paid 6580 OTD. That includes taxes and everyting, as OTD the door actually means. This is in Ohio

I paid $6135 plus tax's. I'd paid even more had they wanted cause it's one awesome quad with power to spare.

Missouri you pay taxes at the license bureu or revenue office like a car so you dont at the dealer. I think MO tax is 7% or so.

Same dealer also has an 05 leftover that he is willing to let go for qutie a bit less. Assuming that the kick start is easy to work I couldn't see spending an extra $1000 for an 06 just to get e-start.

i got an 05 out the door 2 weeks ago for $5069, that is 4999 plus 70 for title and documents no taxes. i got it in ohio, if not an ohio resident no sales tax. they quoted me 5949 plus 70 title and documents for an 06 with electric start.

Is that Cycle Stop or Canandaigua motor sports as I see you are in Henrietta not far from me in Penfield? I am looking at a KFX400 or a 400EX, but I have yet to go to Cyclestop and beat on them for a price.
