Default ds 650 first quad and first ride.....

ok.. got my 06 ds 650x and went riding this weekend.... keep in mind ive been riding dirt bikes for awile(this is my first quad)...
and this thing rocks!!!! a ton of power and a very nice ride... handles very good, you can through it around like a dirt bike... and wheeles
very nice to... and its still stock???? got a tm 45, exhaust, ported intake, air filter and 60% cluch springs and some 22 and 23 inch razr 2s and a
15 tooth frount cog coming for it.. so whats this thing gonna do ,rip my arms off??? what can i expect over stock???? a couple ? though...
i cant beleave that the ds makes more power with the air box cover on or sealed up with them them tubes running under the fuel tank???
coming from 4-stroke trail bikes you open up the air box by cutting the top off to let it breath , and re-jet the carb. another thing is why dose bombardier
say to use premium fuel, in a moter with 9.7 to 1 comp. , your loseing power ????? its not going to ping on 87 reg. gas......
other than that , the ds rules......

I ran 87 in my stocker for 2 years, ran great! Don't know if you'll need the 15 tooth front. I know on mine that the taller I gear it the better it perfrorms. It doesn't feel it from seat of the pants because you're going through the gears quicker, but I could tell from some of the races by how much I was beating some or at least a lot closer to others.
