I just got a yamaha warrior that needs a cylinder head. I have found many on ebay and was woundering if a 1987 will fit a 2000 warrior 350 yamaha. Olny one person i have found so far says it will. Others say they do not know ?

The only differences I can find in the cylinder head is that the 87-88 models have a decrompression cam assembly mounted in the exhaust valve cover. I not sure if this would prevent you from using or not but there is a slight difference.

If the only difference seems to be the compression relief, then it should work. 95Wolverine put that style of exaust valve cover on his 446, so it would start easier in the winter. I'm keeping my eye out for one too, since mine is nearly impossible to pull start now.
