I got a blaster from one of my buddies the other day but its been out of service for a while and he lost the key, so i need to know how to hotwire it. Thanks.

cut the harness and find the 2 wires that make the neutral light come on... once it does.. you're good to start(tape together)

Take a big thick piece of wire, stick one end up your nose, and the other in the gas tank. That'll get er running. Make sure you take pictures.

 

just unplug the 2 wires going to the ignition and fire it up

 

well this is kinda the one thing you don't really ask on atv forums because they think you stole it or thiefs will search here to figure out how to start one without the key

 

its not that i dont know how to hot wire an atv its just that i didnt know if theres was anything different you had to do to a yamaha than a honda, and a theif wouldn't look on here to know how to do it, they became a thief because they already know how and thank you for all the people who answered my question nicely

 

In Baja I lost my key to my banshee, so my cousin tore out the key ignition untill you get to the bottom. Once you do that you can turn the switch with a flat screwdriver.
