Finally got to drive a YFZ
#1
This weekend i got to drive some guys yfz around a little bit. It only had a FMF factory 4 pipe without a jet kit yet so it sputtered a little at quarter throttle. I hopped on it gave it a little grabbed second and put it down, pointed skyward, 3rd same thing, 4th it brought the front tires off the ground. i am suprise at how light this thing is, so easy to lift the front end compared to my ds, it was a rush. Power wise, it has good snap, but doesnt seem to have the torque of mine. This coming weekend im going to drag race the yfz, so ill keep you guys posted on the results, this is one h e l l of an atv.

this is true....i ran with a yfz this wkend....
an 05, piped, jetted, cdi and cam...he was running alittle off also...
he beat me! thats it
my DS is mostly stock, i have an endcap and filter..stock jetting
they were short runs..he would get the jump and then it was catch up for me..i think if they were longer runs i could catch him and win..MAYBE

I test rode one when I was buying my 700 and all can say is.........WOW! I loved the way they rap out in the upper Rs............. Should be a pretty good race.
