Default Squeaky Brakes

I currently ride a 700R raptor, had it for about 6 months or so and i find the rear brake squeaks a fair bit. Can anyone give me an idea as to what might be causing this and how i can fix it???? Thanks.

If it's like the yamaha kodiaks back brake it squeaks al the time. What I've found to stop this is take a green scouring pad and rub the edge of the disk. It removes the build up that makes it squeak. Works for me. Try it.

Make sure there isnt sand or pebbles, in the pad material?
Does the squeeking happen when on the brake or when its released?
If it squeeks when theres no application, try the stop squeek products for cars. Its a silicone product which gets put between the pads and the caliper.
I found, if i really get hard on the brakes, at least once every use, mine will stay pretty quiet.

Thanks for the feedback. I will try these few things this weekend when i get it out. The brake is squeaky both when it is applied and when it is not. I don't use the rear brake all that much, mainly only the front..... But i will definately try these things and see what happens.... Just an annoying sound more than anything.
