Another funny story, ATV related

I got reminded of this a minute ago and thought it would be a good chuckle for you guys.
Last fall just after I got my nitrous installed I was doing some tuning out on the Keno access road which is a long deserted stretch about a 1/2 mile long thats paved. I had been there quite awhile making pass after pass tryin to dial the carb and NOS in. I had it just about right and decided to make a full on nitrous pass 2nd through 5th gear. I launch and get through the first few gears and I hear this really weird sound, really faint it wasnt coming from the bike more of a distant squeek kinda sound. I didnt let up, I held the button down all the way through 5th and shut it down. I turned around and heres this forest service cop bearing down on me full speed. He slamms on the brakes, gets out with his hand on his gun pointing at me and shouting something. I couldnt hear him due to the bike being to loud. Of course I stopped and got off the bike. The dude was really pissed. Evidentally he had come up behind me and redlighted me just before I took off. He thought I was making a run for it. I couldnt see or hear him due to the helmet and bike running. He was going to write me up and possibly haul me in for eluding an officer, speeding, noise violation ect ect. I carefully explained to him what I was doing and that this place sees very little traffic and is the best and safest place for me to tune. Also that I couldnt see or hear him due to the fact of the bike being loud and my helmet being on. He calmed down, took my info and the bikes VIN. He was looking for the bike #'s and said Ive never seen a quad like this, what is it. So I explained then he saw the bottle and says is that nitrous, no wonder I could catch you. we endedup BSing for about 45 min about the bike and how to make his sportsman 700 faster. Long story short I didnt get the ticket in fact he told me to go ahead and run there as long as I didnt go off the road (fireseason). Ive been tuning there ever since. Is that funny or what?

Good story scatterbrain. Too bad he didn't have radar so he could have told you how fast you were going.
For some reason I am reminded of the fact that the only speeding tickets I have ever received in my life, all happened when my quad was in the back of my truck!
