Default new guy seeking advice

sup everyone, new to the forums and was wanting a little bit of advice.

i had my first 4-wheeler when i was about 12-13 yrs old back in 96. im 19 now. it was a 160 quadrunner. and it got stolen a couple years later. i loved it do death and now im thinking about gettting another one new. im not looking to spend 6-7grand for a 300 or 400ex. but blasters were the cool bike to have back when i was in middle school and looking at them now. i still have a thing for them. i weigh about 160-170 lbs 5'10. is this the bike for me? im lookin for something i can tear the dirt roads and trails up with, something rev happy. thanks in advance.

ps. 2-3k price range.

Reece, you could make a Blaster work for you, but I think you might be better off looking for a used 400EX in decent condition. Better suspension, bigger frame, more powerful, at least stock. This quad isn't quite up to par with more current offerings, but it can be had in your price range, and is an overall better piece of equipment than a Blaster. Glad you are looking to get back into the sport, good luck with the shopping!

well if u are going to look for a 400 forget the 400ex. spend an extra 500 bux for a machine thats So much better get the z400. way better machine then a 400ex.

The Z is a better quad, but it is much harder to find a GOOD one in Reece's price range, that is why I didn't mention it. Also, I wouldn't even bother looking at earlier Predators. If you go for a Blaster, find a newer one with the updated disc brakes.

For it's price the blaster is a great quad, it it will fit you. It also has plenty of potential to be woken up with all of the mods available for it.
