87 reg gas with cdi box....

anybody have any prob. with pre-ignition on reg. old 87 pump gas while running a after market
cdi boxes that advance timming>>>>>

87 reg gas with cdi box....

My son ran for two years with timing advanced and had no trouble.
For fast trails just make sure your jetting is on or alittle rich.

87 reg gas with cdi box....

I had problems running higher octane gas with a cheap CDI box!

I then switched to a Vortex box and have had no problems.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

87 reg gas with cdi box....

now my tank says to run a high octane with everything stock.... should i be running 87? i do 93 now
