Flipped my 800 today:(

I flipped my 800 on the right side today, it pushed the front cab plastic into the hot pipes and melted it bad. It also pumped about a 1/2 qurat of oil into the air box.
I plan to order new plastic from ridgerunner, it starts and runs fine.
Should I just add oil or change it? I can't see why anything would mix with the oil but ???

top your oil off, start it up and let it get warm, and then check it, you should be fine. make sure to check your headlight pod, it is basicly the brain of your 4x4 system, if it gets damaged your lights, spedo, and 4x4 will go crazy.
good luck with your 'rebuild'

OUCH, never a good sign when those big pigs get off there wheels. Where I ride(Wayne National Forrest) they have these 50" bridges made from 2x4's, and I got off to the side and dropped mine about 3 feet on its right side. I was amazed that only damage was 2 scratches, blends with the camo. Only thing that saved me was the super soft sand along the creek. They want you to stay out of the water beacause of EPA regs. I understand that , but you put tires and spacers on and you are well past 50" I tread lightly, with that said, I will not do the bridges anymore.

All I can say it is one tough machine! If it wasn't for I want it to look good the plastic is not melted too bad.
When I get the new plastic in I will make stand offs to protect it in the future.

You're right they are tough, but heavy too. Sometimes the heavyness is what does the most damage. When I flipped mine, it was all I could do to roll it back over. Not bragging here, but I am 300 lbs and can usually GET R DONE when I get pissed. I felt like a baby trying to roll that thing back over! LOL!!!
