Default KFX 400 Recall

Just got my name on the list for the 05-06 KFX 400 Clutch cover recall. Of course the parts are on back order and it will be awhile before it will get fixed but at least I know the cost wont fall into my hands.

Brought the quads to the dealer in January. Took almost two months to get the parts. I asked them to remove the water pump cover to check for the sludge and do to the severe pitting they couldn't get it to seal again. My quads were out of service for 7 weeks! I suggest that you drain the radiator, flush the system, and use Evans waterless coolant until the parts come in.

I still have my 4 wheeler and riding it. They just ordered the parts for me and when they come in they said then we will call us to bring it in so they can do the work. The parts are on back order as of right now. I told them if they took my 4 wheeler from me to wait on parts then they better give me something comparable to ride until I get it back. Of corse they laughed at me and told me to keep riding mine until the parts get here. Just watch the oil and coolant.
