would it be smart to put paddles on my banshee to ride in the snow? It sounds like it could work but i'm not sure.

Paddles in the rear would work. Don't put the front sand tires on.They won't work on ice though. On ice leave the knobby tires on.

For your recon any kind of mud tires or the stock tire. The banshee stock tires don't hook up well, so I would say hole shots, or razors. I think the sand tire will work, I have seen it done before. It worked out well and was like riding in sand. Except for the ice. All tires will slip and slide. So what I do on ice is take it easy and on the starts, use alot of clutch work. The ideal snow tire is a hole shoot studded with ice racing screws. You can order the screws from dennis kirk as well as the tire. Let me know how much fun you have.

2-stroke will never die!

For riding in the snow I use Maxxis Sur Trac's, mounted backwards, with about 100 ice screws per tire. This works great...the screws don't last long if you hit some dirt though.

the best tires for the ice are studded turf tamers.

i think that using snad tires in the snow would be a waste of money. I live in New Jersey and there aren't to many deserts around here to use them.

Although for the recon i think we are going to get TSLs.And for the bashee i'm not sure yet.

thanks for the input
