Hi I have a Banshee that i ride in the dunes every now and then and was wondering what the difference is in the number of paddles like 6,8,9, or even 10 paddles? Does it matter? ALso what brand and number of paddles is best for a banshee? THanks for any input.

What mods do you have to your Banshee? If you are just pipes\filters\rejet you can use 8 paddles.....even if your stage 2 ported and bigger carbs 8 paddles will be perfect.

I know a guy with stage 4 porting and he runs 9 paddles. I know a guy with 490cc and he runs 10 paddles.

If you want an all around paddle, get a V shaped design. They will slide well, and have more traction than knobbies.

If you want to race, get straight cut paddles. They dont handle well, but they wheely plenty if you have a stock swingarm. I run Skat trak 8 paddle haulers on my 700 and once I put the longer swingarm on......it handles great and its controllable.
