long oil filters

Default long oil filters
what years did the DS come with the long filter?

i know a 2000 had a short one and a 2001 had a long one, but i think they switched back to the short one later???

Wow! I wouldn't have guessed that. I would buy the filter cover from the 2001 - 2003 models and go with the upgrade. The filter costs the same, and there is no way that more filter surface area is a bad thing.

I think that all depends....What do you consider short?
