Default Dealer issues

Some of you may have read that I was looking into the recall on the newer 650s as there was an issue with not enough grease in the barings. Well Big D's big siezed up a couple of weeks ago, and has cost $300 to repair, and Crash's ride started going out the week after. So new berings were sitting at our dealers shop when I posted about the recall, (figuring mine was only an hour or 2 from the same fate). Well I printed out the info on the recall, and had Crash and Big D take with them to get the parts. Our sales person took good care of us. Both sets of berings walked out the door for $0.00, and the third set was paid for. Once that set comes into the store, we will get them and a refund on them. Knowing our Sales rep is like he is, he will make ammends on more parts and products that are purchased in the store. So a great big Hat Tip and Thank you to our dealer. They have done us proud and took it on the chin when they made a mistake. So anyone up in this area, Redding Yamaha is the place to go!!!!

Nice to finally hear a good dealer story... seems there aren't too many of those going around these days.

Agreed, that is why I felt mine needed some extra props here. I know it will not help them out with any business due to our remote location.......But they did right. There are some good ones still out there!!!!
