Anyone know what the largest tire(height/width)that can be installed on a stock rim of my 2005 recon?Tires are currently 22-10/9.Looking for better mud traction,not so much speed or handling....thanks,ride safe!

 

you can put any size hat hasa nine inch rim,i put mud lites the size is 22-11-9 and they work great

 

Thanks,wasn't sure if going wider would cause tire sidewall to pop off rim.mudlites do look awesome also looking at gators

 

no prob,my only complaint is they dont power slide good though,becuse they grip so well,i used to ride in deep mud like you,but i found out itwas getting in to my brkaes and cusing then to stop working,so now the deepest i go is like 4inches.they do wear down fast though,im going to get maxxis surtacks next time,becue i ride like a sport quad,and power slide and stuff.hope this helped
