I installed DG Race Peg Nerf Bars. They put the peg position lower and further back, and I love them! But, I can't adjust the stock brake lever to be low enough (it hits the mount for the nerf bars). With the lever high like that, I have to pick my foot up and place it on the lever, rather than just sliding it over. This greatly increases reaction time. Actually, I can't say I use my rear brakes that much (down shifting usually does the job), but in an emergency when you need a brake, you really need one! Anyway, are there any aftermarket levers or some other fix out there which might solve my problem. Thanks!

Just an idea...not necessarily a good one...you could cut the brake lever and weld the front piece at a different angle to allow additional adjustment.
