premium gas in atv

If it is a stroke that injects oil, Yes. My buddy had the same machine as me and he was too cheap to run the premium gas and he couldn't understand why his didn't run as good as mine. There was definately a difference plus he would foul plugs quite a bit compared to mine.

the only difference between premium gas and regular gas is the octane levels. octane keeps the gasoline from pre-detonating without a spark. also known as dieseling. thats why high-compression motors like corvettes or even the predator require premium gas

it helps during the winter months, as the temperatures can be anywhere from 35F to -30F. the time i had to run regular (local stations premium pump was broke) it was running like crap. wouldnt idle when i let off and was constantly detonating.

premium wouldent really help your situation. you have a engine problem, your pistons probebly have a thick coating of ash or carbon on them that is red hot and is pre-detonating your gasoline.

Premium fuel is n/g in ATV's.
Even the commercials say "only if your vehicle benefits from premium "
Dealer told me seals can be worn out quicker, engine needs to burn "hotter" to burn the extra octane.
BTW:
(I have a 05 Jeep Wrangler and in the manual it states warantee is voided if premium fuel is used....)
Maybe they know something we dont??
