the A would reprosent the perticular year that the mojave is....every year has a diffirent letter.

but the 89 has both a and no letter on sum website (sorry cant remember the site i was looking for parts)

i have heard that the older model mojaves had an option for a racing stlye frame....maby that is what the letter means for that perticular year......

dennis kirk is the site that does it and the A has the most results for aftermarket items but i dont know whats its about, i would like to though.
