I got 483 miles on my o6 grizz and i noticed the rear brake wouldn't even hold the wheeler on a slight hill, found rear brake pads smoked and i checked the front while i was at it and they are pretty low and should be replaced, is it normall for these to need brake every 500 iles or so? Thanks for any help

 

I have a kodiak with disks front and back 650 mile and pretty much no wear yet.....don't you have adjustment b4 the pads get replaced anyway?

 

not sure what to adjust, pads are worn right down to metal backing plate with no pad lining left. Maybe rining in alot of mud could cause premature wear??
