06 rubi dont like swimmin

ive got a 06 rubicon and everytime i take it in water up to the bottom of the seat the thing dies. last time i checked the air box not a stitch of water and every time i do this i have to drain the carb bowl to get it running again. if anyone else here has had this problem and found out how to fix her drop a line
by the way excellent machine. have 27 inch itp 589s front and back brush guards 2500 warn underground scoop lights front and back(2 back 1 front) only 4 months old and already 2400 kms

If water gets in the air box, it's probably sucking it right on through to the carb and not stopping at the filter, I wouldn't get into that much water with my 07, just don't like the idea of water in the engine. If you want to run in deep water, you should put a snorkel on.

Two things,
Did you extend your carb vents?
Put a little bottle on the carb over flow so that it causes a air gap" hard to explain"

Yes, as goattrotter said extend the vent line from your carb. There is a small rubber line coming from the bottom of your carb. Remove it and replace with one that will reach your handle bar area. Move it up as high as possible.
