Default Giovanni 50cc quad troubles

I recently purchased this 50cc quad. Ran great for about 3 weeks until the kids put some old fuel in it. It ran for a bit on this fuel and then would not start. Upon further investigation I found the intake valve is bent. My problem is I can't seem to find a replacement valve. Does anyone know where I might be able to get engine parts ? Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance

You cant call giovanni? The main reason for the bent valve is because it was over revved. These do not have limiters so they will rev as much as they can take. Once they are over reved the valve starts to float then it smacks the piston. The Giovanni is the same as the Kazuma meerkat so you may be able to call Kazuma to get parts. Ebay has complete motors.

The engine is basically an older XR50 clone. Because of this there is a world of parts for it out there. Now I can only confirm the cylinder, head, and countershaft sprocket so far, the rest it would be best if you could bring the old parts in first.

I found out by comparing a 2003 XR50 we just sold and also because I took a chance and won on ebay a used 88cc cylinder and piston kit for $30US. I put it in the Giovanni and went from 2.5hp to 5hp. It will now do donoughts with me on it (190lbs) in the gravel. We also put a 13 tooth front sprocket on it for more low end (sprocket was made for an older XR50 (can't remember right now exact year).

A single aftermarket XR50 valve should be quite inexpensive.
