Are the AMS Blacktail and Whipsnake the only front sand tire that comes in a 23"?
I know a couple of guys running the Blacktail and are satisfied with them but who's running the Whipsnake and what are your thoughts on them? I like the look of the Whipsnake better, no fin down the middle, but I'm more interested in function than looks.
I would prefer a 23x8x10 over the 7" width but can't seem to find any. To those running either of these is $85 a set shipped a decent bargain?

Have 22" Sand Stars on the rear and was looking for something a bit taller for the front. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the reference Carlton. Checked them out, not really wanting the directional ribs though. I was thinking smooth might be the way to go but not alot of opinion swaying going on either way.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

 

All I know is you don't want the single rib'd ones. I hate mine they seem to follow all the ruts really bad. I don't know about the rest of them. But I am like you I am a tight a$$ and can't justify spending the money on new ones since mine are fine.

 

I have a set of 23" whipsnakes you can have if you cover shipping. Used them 1 time and are like brand new. Went with a custom set of 22" tires.

 

Ive run the Mohawks before and they worked well for me. Im a smooth buff guy. I like like it smoothLOL

 

I have a set of buffs I never used, what are they like to run in the dunes, are they strickly a hill shooter tire/sand drag tire?
Oh you can get a set of mohawks 23 x 8 x 10 from Skat Trak
and with 22s in the rear, would 23s make that much difference in the fronts over the 22s?
