Default can't afford to change oil

damn!!!! I just got back from the dealership and had to pay $33 for two oil filters. I don't know if I've ever been hosed this bad. So let's see.......16.50 for a filter, 3 qts. of oil @ 8 bucks a qt. is $24 plus 3 hours my labor (5 minutes changing oil, 2 hrs. and 55 min. cleaning up mess) which i won't include is, uh, let's see, uh, $40.50. Crazy, huh? Does anyone know if Fram or some other company is making these?

thanks

Oil filter cost me 12 bucks the other day.

I have been running valvoline motorcycle oil 4 stroke 20/50.. 3 bucks a quart. It has superior wet clutch protection.

I change my filter every 3-5 outing, But I change my oil almost every outing so the filter stays half way clean. JMO

Check E-Bay. I get my KTM oil filters for about 1/2 price there. And my KTM uses 2 filters.

I pay that for Amsoil filters, with extended change intervals.

I thought my dealer was bad lol

Just got a spark plug, oil filter, 1 gallon oil, chain lube, and foam filter cleaner and was $45 and was wondering how bad they were sticking it to me lol
