Boot,

How do you like those 589 tires? Thinking about a set for my Rancher.

I read the tire shoot out at this site(I think) and they said that the 589's were a suprise. They performed better then expected. I like them because they are aggressive but dont rattle your teeth loose on hard pack. I rode my friends Polaris with vampires and thought it was way too rough. they may be better in mud but I wanted something that was a all around tire. I also like the fact that I didnt need a lift for 27 inchers and that they fit on my stock rim. They also seem to steer better then you would expect from a big tire. Not hard to turn going slow or stopped. I am planning on pulling a ice house this winter so when the ice gets thicker I will tell you how they do in ice and on snow.

boot,

Do you have wheel spacers? Because I am planning on going with 27" vamps on my rubi and i need to know if they will rub the muffler in the back. Do your tires rub the floorboard supports in the front or do you have a high lifter fender kit?

I do not have spacers or any fender kits. There was a guy at the dealership who put 27 inch vamps on his rubi and while backing up in the shop they tore off the muffler guard so you might need them. The 589's fit with no mods at all. Nothing rubs.
Hope this helps.

Boots,
Nice pics, but the pink flamingoes have got to go. They clash with the bike.
But seriously, I'm considering a Rubi myself and don't really want to deal with lift kits, fender kits etc. This looks like a good solution. How wide are your 589s, 10 inch all the way around? Have you had a chance to try them out in deep mud yet?

Very nice pics. Where did you get that "Auto armor" spray at. That looks real nice.

Im not sure of the size, of the tires. I know that titan only makes one size in 27 inch. I got them from: http://shop.cedarrapidstire.com/ they were by far the cheepest and if you dont live in Iowa(does anyone) you dont pay tax and shipping is only 5 dollars per tire.
I havent gone through much mud with these tires but they received a very good review in a atv mag. They said that they were supurised at how well the 25 inch titans did agains other brands 27 inchers. At the time of the artical titan did not make a 27 inch tire. TEXMud has them I believe so perhaps he could help you in that area.
As far as the Auto armor. It is a 3M product that is harder then "Rino liner" I had it professionally sprayed at a local distributor. The guy who sprayed them said it was a bitch to do it. He would rather spray three truck beds then one set of racks. I paid 70 bucks but the owner said that he would charge more next time.
