My family has a Sportsman 90 2stroke and my friend has a honda Trx 90 4 stroke manual with bigger wheels than our sportsman. i raced him one day on a straight away and i started off beating him,then he came behind me and after a few sec he was about 5 yards ahead and cept increasing his lead. Y did he win?

 

he won because he is faster, what don't you understand? are you asking what to do to make your quad faster?

 

i meen how is he faster he has a 90 cc fourstroke manual with bigger tires and mine is a 90cc 2 stroke(more power)automatic.

 

If he has a manual transmission, then the top speed is likely higher. He can just shift to 3rd gear. (it probably has 3 gears right?) Also the top speed would likely be higher in part due to the bigger wheels. If the hubs are turning the same speed, then the tread of the bigger wheel is going faster. It all depends on the gearing really though. If you want to be faster, there are lots of aftermarket parts that you can put on the Sportsman.
